LLA is proud to support volunteer efforts in Indianapolis by connecting LLA members with opportunities to become involved with volunteer projects through local nonprofits. Together you and LLA are one step closer in making Indianapolis the best city in the nation.
Current Opportunities
Interested in serving on a board? Indiana Institute for Families is looking for board members. Their mission is to help children and families in crisis. You need to have an interest in helping children and families. Time commitment is 10 - 15 hours per year, some note taking needed. Board service is in 1 year terms. The Indianapolis Cultural Trail is a world-class urban bike and pedestrian path that connects neighborhoods, cultural districts, and entertainment amenities, and serves as the downtown hub for the entire greenway trail system. The five downtown cultural districts connected by the Indianapolis Cultural Trail include: Fountain Square, Indiana Avenue, Massachusetts Avenue, White River State Park, and the Wholesale District and Monument Circle. The Indianapolis Cultural Trail will also connect with the Monon Trail, allowing visitors easy access to Broad Ripple Village from downtown.
