Feedback
"It was a great opportunity to gain innovative and applicable ideas to bring back to the workplace. The teaching style was entertaining yet highly thought provoking. And the quality of the fellow participants made the entire LEAD experience quite enjoyable. My thanks to the great team at Lacy Leadership Association."
- Steve Appel, Vice President at Gregory & Appel Insurance
"The LEAD program provides our bank officers the opportunity for hand-on leadership training that helps them develop their skills as a communicator, facilitator and innovator. This, of course, is beneficial to the employee, as well as the bank as we strive to develop and retain top talent. The LEAD program is relevant, applicable, and most of all, fun. The Lacy Leadership programs are an important part of Fifth Third's employee education programs."
- Natalie Guzman, Public Relations Director at Fifth Third Bank
"Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) is a terrific opportunity for folks aspiring to realize their full personal and professional potential. It primes the pump, providing insights to participants over several weeks that can provide returns for years.
LEAD provides tools that can help affect change in participants’ daily lives, their work lives, and their philanthropic endeavors. At a very practical level, LEAD provides tools to learn more about oneself, how to ably work with teams, how to effectively lead others, and ultimately how to become a more effective person. On a broader level, LEAD provides new networks to professionals, helping participants grow personal and professional relationships.
As with most things, one gets from LEAD what one puts into LEAD; the potential return on investment is substantial."
- David Forsell, President of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful
"Indianapolis Power & Light Company (IPL) is proud to sponsor LEAD and Opportunity Indianapolis as a valuable part of professional development for IPL employees and as a way to support leadership development in our community."
- Greg Fennig, Indianapolis Power and Light Vice President of Public Affairs
"I am very pleased to have had two staff members participate in the LEAD program through LLA. Each of them came back with observably greater confidence and a willingness to share ideas inspired by their experience. I am seeing stronger decision making abilities and a desire to take on leadership roles. Anyone concerned about time that it takes away from the office should know that it is a great return on the investment. My staff and I will continue to recommend LEAD to our colleagues. Thank you for making such a valuable program available!"
- Beth Perdue Outland, Vice President of Education at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra
"As I'm sitting in my office on the first Friday after the training, just thought I'd send you a note to say - thanks! I really enjoyed the LEAD training, especially the active and engaging format. It energized me and has given me a fresh view of my role and responsibilities."
- Randy Miller, Executive Director of Drug Free Marion County
