The following LLA members were named as 2009 Indy’s Best and Brightest Winners: Mary Beth Kohart (SKL XXX), Kostas Poulakidas (SKL XXIX) and Nichole Wilson (LEAD 2008, SKL XXXIV and LLA Board Member).

The following LLA members were named as 2009 Indy’s Best and Brightest Finalists: Ian Arnold (SKL XXXIV), Linda Broadfoot (LEAD 2006, SKL XXXIII), Steve Campbell (SKL XXXIV), Travis DiNicola (SKL XXXII, LLA Board Member), Claire Fiddian-Green (Opportunity Indianapolis 2006, SKL XXXIV), Gilbert Liu (SKL XXXIV).

LLA's Influential Women
The following LLA alumni and members were named Indianapolis Business Journal’s (IBJ) Women of Influence: Elaine Bedel (SKL V, Lacy Society Member), Helene Cross (Opportunity Indianapolis 1986), Billie Dragoo (LEAD 2006), Abbe Hohmann (SKL IV), Kathryn Minx (SKL XII), Joyce Rogers (SKL XXVII ) and Joanna Taft (SKL XXXII). 70 percent of the list was comprised of LLA alumni.
